1.              General information about the conference - Where and when will the conference take place?

A: The conference will take place at the Gdańsk Medical University in Gdańsk, Poland, on October 20-21, 2023, in the Atheneum Gedanense Novum building in the al.Zwycięstwa 41/42 Street, 80-210 Gdańsk.

2.              Registration and costs - How to register? Are there any discounts available? What forms of payment do you accept?

A: To register for the conference, please find “the register button” or QR code on the flyer and complete the online registration form. We offer discounted rates for early bird registrations, which are detailed on our website. Payments can be made through traditional bank transfers.

3.              Logistics - How to get to the conference venue? Are there any hotels nearby the event venue? Do the organisers provide meals during the conference?

A: The conference venue at Gdańsk Medical University is easily accessible by public transport. From the Main Railway Station in Gdańsk with tram no. 2, 3, 11, and 12 takes 8 minutes, on foot, it is 1.8 km. The closest hotel is Hotel Impresja at Juliana Tuwima 12 Street (distance 400m, 5 min on foot). As for meals, the conference organisers will provide meals during breaks as planned in the schedule.

4.              Technology - Will the conference be streamed live or available online?

A: While the conference will not be streamed live, it is planned to make select sessions available online after the event. More information on accessing recorded sessions will be communicated to participants later.

5.              Certificates and learning points - Will participants receive a certificate of participation?

A: Participants will receive a certificate of participation. The certificate will acknowledge their attendance and provide recognition of their involvement in the event.

6.              Internet Access - Is free internet access available at the conference venue?

A: The Eduroam Wi-Fi network is available at the conference venue.

7.              Others - Is the conference accessible to people with disabilities?

A: Yes, the conference venue has facilities to accommodate individuals with disabilities.

8. Invoices - Will I receive an invoice for the participation fee? Do I need an invoice if I use the discount as a student/PhD student and do not pay the fee? Where to apply for an invoice?

A: Yes, everyone interested will receive an invoice for the fee paid. Discounted fee payment is not eligible for an invoice. When you complete the registration form, you can select the dedicated option to receive an invoice.
